Google AdSense Search Now With Images

Over the past week or so, some of you may have noticed that the Google AdSense custom search engines powering site search across many web sites, including this one, now displays thumbnail images in the search results.

Google announced this on the Google Custom Search Blog but made no mention of it, yet, on the AdSense blog. Which is why I think most people didn't know it was coming.

Here is a picture, but feel free to try it out by searching for something on this site:

I did not have to do anything, Google did it for me. Which personally I am happy about on this site but not too happy about on other sites.

Want to disable them? You can under the Control Panel, on the left-hand menu, click Look and feel.
