Google AdSense Ignoring Your Ads Font Size Preferences

AdSense Font Size IssuesIn June 2009, Google gave more control to their AdSense publishers by giving them the ability to control their font sizes of the ads. But does it work?

A WebmasterWorld thread has complaints from some publishers saying it simply does not work. They said they feel like Google simply ignores the control, so what is the point of setting a font size?

One publisher said:

I have set my default font to verdana and the font size to large and all my AdSense Ad Units use the account default settings.

However I have medium rectangles that very often show small font ads which looks horrible.

Or it shows medium font which is ok but still not the font size I set up.

Another publisher said:

I see the same as you. Every now and then I see Arial or Times although I have Verdana set as font. When I refresh the page its gone. So I assume that G is testing.

Do you have this problem.
