Yoast & Aaron Wall were reportedly tweeting about suspicious AdWords landing pages that come up in the Google search results. For example take a look at these results. You will see pages for cars, cooking, cartoons and more, all on google.com domains, operated by AdWords.

TomHTML thinks this might be an example for the AdWords sales team to pitch the ads to other prospects.
Either way, clicking on the samples seem to show irrelevant content. If Google is doing this, shouldn't they be noindexing them so they don't show up in the search results? But yet they do come up for searches.
I am sure this is an oversight of some kind.
