Google News Adds New Sorting Option

WebmasterWorld thread reports that Google News has added a new sorting option.

If you do a search in Google News, you may now see an option at the top right that reads "Sorted by date with duplicates included." Here is a screen capture:

This is a brand new option and even the help documentation is not updated to explain how this differs from the two other options; "Sort by Relevance" or "Sort by Date."

One would assume that Google is now filtering out duplicate stories in Google News, if you select sort by date.
