The Google Webmaster Central Blog announced earlier this week that it will begin starting to offer malware reviews of websites. The process is simple: you can view a list of dangerous URLs in the Webmaster Tools, make any changes according to security tips, request a malware review from Google, and check the status of your review.
This is very cool, and it's great to see how Google is taking a vested interest in the webmaster community on a regular basis.
As a DigitalPoint Forums says:
Google webmaster tool is awesome for webmaster, and it's really good to inform webmaster of the problem instead of google taking it's own decision.
With Google taking a more proactive stance in emailing webmasters about malware and providing warning notifications for sites infested by malware, this was a next logical step. I like it.
