Finding video results in the web search results is nothing new. Google is even now showing two videos per search result in some cases. So what is the big deal?
Well, for most SEOs, this gives them more opportunity to get their content in front of searchers. It can lead to your video being in the spotlight - which in some cases, can be embarrassing.
When content is in Google and you want to remove it, Google gives you several ways to do that - in a fairly quick manner. But what about your videos? How do you quickly remove those?
That is the topic of a WebmasterWorld thread. A webmaster wants his video removed and he really doesn't know how.
There is a help document that explains the process involved. But how long does it take, once you follow those steps? 24 hours? 48 hours? 2 weeks? 2 months? We don't know yet.
I do hope to track the thread and let you know what I find out.
