A WebmasterWorld thread has one member asking if links that deploy a target="_blank or similar code, which essentially opens a link in a new window - do those links pass PageRank and if so, is it diminished due to opening in a new window? I'll be honest, I never thought about such a question my whole life. I have never seen it in my ~7 years of covering SEO forums. Yesterday, we reported the Google Maps 3D Street Views are now back in action. But then I only reported that right clicking on the map was the only way to turn them on. I was wrong. Alvin from the Google Maps team said that when you are viewing a street view image on Google Maps, you can press either the T or 3 key and "something fun will happen." Google is really pushing the arguably dying Google Buzz. Now, Google is placing a layer of geo-specific Google Buzz threads in Google Maps. To view the Google Buzz layer from your computer, go to Google Maps in your web browser and select Buzz from the More... menu in the top right corner of the map. A WebmasterWorld thread has one advertiser reporting that Google disapproved his AdWords ad due to trademark issues. In short, this advertiser said that Google disapproved the ad because of the word "we" was being used in the ad. The reason that Google gave him for the word "we" disapproving the ad was due to trademark usage. Sounds strange? Yes, it does. Even Google's AdWordsAdvisor representative in the forums replied that it sounded a bit off.
