- Google's Link Reports Recently More Robust?
A WebmasterWorld thread reports that some SEOs and webmasters are saying that the Google Webmaster Tools report for links to your site has improved drastically over the past week or so. The first mention of this was at the WebmasterWorld thread on Friday night. The webmaster said: I don't know how recent the change is but I'm seeing much better reporting depth for incoming links from Google WMT tools today. There are a bunch of reports in the Google Webmaster Help forum where people are saying they are receiving emails that their Google accounts are "no longer verified by Google" to access their Webmaster Tools login. The message reads: [email address here] is no longer verified by Google. Please verify the address or select a different email address. Since the new Google design was released, some people using certain browsers see a weird Google menu. The menu seems to overlay on top of the Google logo and part of the search box and search results. I have seen this on some browser emulators but figured it only impacted a few people. Last week, Google unveiled their new design and truth be told, most bloggers and journalists liked the new interface. But that does not mean most people like it, in fact, many normal Google lovers hate it. A Google Maps Help thread has several business owners complaining that their reviews listed on their Google Maps listing have mysteriously disappeared. Some reported all of their reviews are missing, whereas others reported only a portion of their reviews are missing. Googler, Brianna said: I'm looking into this.
