Google AdWords Display URL Before Ad Description On Featured Ads

A featured WebmasterWorld thread reports that Google has changed the location of the display URL in the AdWords feature ad units. Honestly, as far as I can tell, this is the way it has been since 2004.

The AdWords moderator, anallawalla, said, and let me quote:

This was noted as a test in 2008 but today I am seeing the Display URL before (i.e. on the same line as) the Description text in the ads that appear at the top of the SERP. I am using Google.com.au. (I also got it in Google.com)

Then a senior member backed him up by adding, "I see that too."

The thing is, the display URL has always come before the ad description, on the same line. I have screen shots from 2004 to prove it.

As you can see from that screen shot, the display URL is in the same position as it is today:

What was new in 2008, was that Google was testing showing the display URL above the description for the normal (not featured/top) AdWords ads. Here is a picture of that:

Now, I really am confused because these are moderators and senior members. So am I missing something here?
