You know when you use Google Street Views and there is a little compass at the top left of the page? I have a picture of it on the top right of this page.
The compass lets you click on it and drag it around to point the various locations while on street views. It also dynamically rotates based on dragging the street views man around the map. But did you know it doesn't move at all when you use the click to navigate method?
Here is a short video demo showing what I mean. I first show how the compass moves as I navigate street views. But then I use the click to navigate method and it stops moving:
