It has been a few weeks since my last video recap, this was due to holidays. I am back now and this week I covered the past month of SEO changes at Google. I also covered the new blue triangle arrow on Google's search results. Google is testing Page Previews. Bing will be adding a link report and link explorer to Bing Webmaster Center. Today (or tomorrow, depending on where you are) there is a special Google logo on many Google properties and likely will be in Google US very soon. You can see the John Lennon 70th birthday Doodle / logo on Google UK and other Google properties as well. John Lennon would be celebrating his 70th birthday today. Heads up, this Monday, Yahoo's search ads will begin to be powered by Microsoft adCenter in the US and Canada. So technically, all the results on the Yahoo Search pages will be served up by Bing/adCenter on Monday. Yahoo has a detailed post with more information on the adCenter transition. Mike noticed yesterday that Google had a BBB rating (Better Business Bureau) of a C-. They do, but what most people don't know is that over a year ago, Google had a D score from the BBB. So Google is actually improving. Yea, today, October 2010 a C-: February 2009 a D: So I for one will give Google kudos for getting that grade up, it is progress for the human-less Google. Google AdSense publishers have, on the most part, been happy with their earnings and control of their ads. But all that seemed to change a few days ago. I always see threads with individual publishers complaining about earnings, but recently, the threads seem to be endless.
