I am seeing some early reports of a Google Toolbar PageRank update this morning. There are threads with discussion on the topic at DigitalPoint Forums and Google Webmaster Help. Plus if you search for [pagerank] on Twitter, you will see lots of people saying their site's PageRank has been updated. Google is now showing personalized birthday Google logos for you, me and everyone else out there. Well, not everyone. Google's Helen L. posted a Google Places Help thread informing business owners that from now on the reviews on Google Maps, the Google Place pages, will differentiate between those left by Google users and those captured from other places on the web. Helen from the Google Maps team said: As of this morning, we've updated the way reviews show up on your Place Page. Sphinn is trying something new, Twitter submissions. You can tweet tips to @sphinn and moderators will monitor the account and review all submissions sent via Twitter. How does it work?
