Google Testing New AdWords Preview Tool

Google has offered a way for advertisers to preview their ads on Google without impacting their costs and quality score through an AdWords Preview Tool. It also allows users to test their ads and see them in various geo-graphic locations without actually being in those areas.

The tool is named AdWords Preview Tool. But now, I and everyone else is seeing a "New" version being tested. At the top of the existing preview tool it says "New version," when you click on it it takes you to the new version.

Here is a picture of the old version:

A WebmasterWorld thread has some feedback on the new tool.

What I noticed as new was that instead of typing in the Google domain, you get the list of all of them which I found bit annoying as it took me some time to find the domain for UK for example.

Also the interface prompts you to sign in, in order to give you information about your ads. After logging with MCC email ads were still not recognized so I'm guessing one has to use the email that is directly associated with the account from which an ad is running.

The location (country) list is now all in alphabetical order.
