Here is a recap of what happened in the search forums today, through the eyes of the Search Engine Roundtable and other search forums on the web.
Search Engine Roundtable Stories:
- Google Ranking Update or May Day Impacting More Sites?
There are three threads at WebmasterWorld and dozens at Google Webmaster Help in the past week or so, all discussing ranking changes at Google and sites that were doing well in Google, no longer doing well. To me, it sounds like an algorithm update. The only issue, it isn't being discussed as 'loudly' as some past Google algorithm updates. So what is going on? But what SEOs are best at, outside of link building, is making sure a site, especially large dynamic ones, don't have major duplicate content issues and they feed the appropriate pages to the search engines at all times. So when Google launched their Google TV and asked webmasters to optimize their sites for TV - Live Blog Coverage Of BlueGlass Florida November 2nd & 3rd
I will be live blogging the small but informative BlueGlass two-day conference this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, November 2nd and 3rd. I do not need to post a schedule, because it is clear, there is only one session going on per time slot. You can review the agenda and see what I may be covering. I won't cover all the sessions, but I will likely cover most. There is a really nice collection of speakers
