- Google Won't Admit Wrong: Shows More Results From Single Domain But Compact Style
In August Google thought it would be a good idea to show searchers, for some queries, a page filled of results from a single domain. I personally thought it was a horrible idea but Google doesn't really listen to my advice. So it continued that way, until now. Google announced last night that they have "expanding the feature" to show up for more queries. But at the same time, they are now showing the additional - Google Maps Showing Bulgarian In English Maps Listings
Earlier this month we complained that Google Maps was showing Asian characters in an English map listing. The issue with that listing was it was edited to be displayed that way - so it didn't appear to be Google's fault and thus I had no right to complain. But now, Gabs pointed me to a different issue where a verified listing has Bulgarian characters for the city name as opposed to the English equivalent. The - Have Issues With Instant Page Previews? Googler, JohnMu, posted a thread at the Google Webmaster Help forum asking people who see issues with the new Instant Previews to report those issues there. Google has been allowing AdSense publishers to block category of ads since April 2009. Later on that year, they expanded more categories. Then a month ago, Google expanded this program a bit more to allow "general category blocking." This beta program will allow some AdSense publishers to block 170 more specific categories, including finance, travel, job, and automotive. This feature will allow publishers to block up to 50 ad categories from among a broad range - Can You Name The Best SEO Advice You Ever Received?
