Bing LogoBing announced they now have conversational search, similar to how to how Google introduced it over a year ago.

I tested it out search for [who is the president of russia?]

Bing Conversation1

Then asking [how old is he?]

Bing Conversation2

Then [who is his wife?]

Bing Conversation3

But it got hung up on [do they have children?]

Bing Conversation4

Google did go that far, by the way:

click for full size

Either way, this is a major enhancement for Bing and great news! Bing said:

These improvements build on extensive work we have done to build out the Bing platform including investments in entity and conversational understanding. This is a long journey, and we expect to deliver a number of additional improvements in the days ahead.
