It is rare for SEOs and Webmasters to bring up changes to the Bing search results and as you know, Bing powers Yahoo's organic search results also.
But one webmaster, who actually sent me real data via email off the record, showed me signs of a possible real update to the Bing search results.
Many of his sites showed a 15% reduction in ranking across both Bing and Yahoo. Typically percentages like that signal a major algorithm push by a search engine. But no one else is chatting about it, no one else is talking about it in the forums or social spaces.
However, SERPS.com and SERP Metrics both show signs of an update on May 5th.
Also, the DigitalPoint Tracker shows major changes in Bing:
The last possible Bing update we reported on was in December 2013.
Did you notice changes with your Bing/Yahoo traffic around May 5th?
