A Bing Shopping Help thread has a couple of new Bing Shopping merchants complaining about recent rejections to inclusion of their store in Bing Shopping.
As we reported earlier, Bing Shopping recently added a self maintenance portal within adCenter and in August opened up Bing Shopping to all merchants for free.
Now, those who are applying are suggesting that Bing is denying their approval without merit. The rejection emails come from [email protected] and read:
Hello,We appreciate your interest in the Bing Shopping program, but we regret to inform you that we will be unable to include you in the program.

Two others are reporting the same type of email on the same day. The major complaint is that after all the work to submit a valid feed, they get this short email with no details at all. One e-commerce site owner explained:
After going to the work of formatting our feed, jumping through the various hoops to join the Bing Shopping program, and waiting weeks for some type of activity, we got a very brief email... A reason or some type of explanation would have been nice. Has this happened to anyone else? How can bing afford to alienate merchants?
The thing is, even live merchants received this email and some suspect it might be fake. I am not sure what to believe.
If you have this problem, you may want to check out the thread.
