December 2018 Google Webmaster Report

Here is our monthly Google webmaster report that summarizes and links to the more important SEO and webmaster related stories. The big news this past month was the nice number of unconfirmed Google ranking updates. Google also launched the zero results feature and a new sticky header for their search results.

Google also delisted Search Engine Land, over a bug with their search engine. Google added new Q&A page structured data, said they fixed the Google News indexing issues, released docs on lazy loading content for SEO and an AMP FAQs.

There is still a lot of chatter going on around the November 30th update in the ongoing WebmasterWorld.
