Google has announced the winner of the Doodle 4 Google competition for 2016. The winner is 10th grader Akilah Johnson from Washington, D.C.
The logo, aka Doodle, which you can see above, is now on the front page of Google.com for all those who visit it.
This year's competition theme was "What Makes Me... Me." Google received 100,000 participants coming from all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and Washington D.C., five national finalists were chosen to spend the day at Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California for the award ceremony. This morning Google announced the 2016 national winner Akilah Johnson from Washington, D.C.
