Google posted on Google+ that advertisers in Google AdWords who used the retired Product Listing Ads (PLAs) have until March 23, 2015 to download their legacy data - if they want it.
In April 2014, Google retired PLAs in exchange for Google AdWords Shopping Campaigns. Now Google wants to drop all the data that went with the years and years of use.
Google said legacy product targets in the Auto Targets tab will no longer be displayed after March 23, 2015. Google added that PLA performance at the product target-level will no longer be accessible. But that PLA performance data will still be available on the campaign and ad group tab.
You should note that will only affect legacy PLA campaigns that have not been deleted and will not impact current Shopping campaigns.
You can download the data, if you want it, by March 23rd in AdWords or AdWords Editor.
