I am sad to report that Gerald Weber, aka Gman, an SEO many of you know, has passed away suddenly on Friday, October 27, 2017. He was incredibly young, only 44 years old, and he has a family. I cannot imagine what his family is going through right now.
I don't know many details outside of the community asking me to post about it here and let the wider community know his family is in need of help for the funeral expenses. You can contribute to the fundraiser at GoFundMe.

My sweet baby boy Gerald Weber has gone to be with Jesus this morning. I think I am still in shock and wish I could just wake up from this nightmare. I know he's with his precious Alexandria Angel Weber now, but we will miss him so very much. Prayers for our family are much appreciated, God bless. XOXOXOThis is my favorite picture of him and his son, Sebastian Cole, my precious love bug. — with Gerald Weber.
Here are some comments from the industry:
Doc Sheldon: "Gerald was one of my earliest acquaintances after starting my own online business. A great guy, with a great sense of humor and outlook on life. RIP, Gerald. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends. He'll be missed by many."
Melissa Fach: "I am so shocked and so, so sorry. My prayers are with you and your family."
Adam John Humphreys wrote: "GMan was an awesome guy. Very bright, talented and knew how to have fun. His presence in the search industry was definitely there and I was definitely impressed with how well he conquered Twitter in early days. His sense of humor will be missed. Last heard from him the other day he makes this all such a shock. I will miss our games together on Call of Duty where he would always joke making the best of every game singing ridiculous songs. He will be missed by us all a lot. If anyone needs to talk I am here."
Bill Slawski wrote "We've lost another in our SEO family. We need to stick up for each other."
