Google Tests Making URL In Search Results Snippets Clickable

Eric Hedekar from STAT, a tool that tracks the Google search results, posted on Twitter that he caught Google testing making the URL in the snippet a hyperlink and clickable. The snippet typically only has one clickable location, the title of the snippet. But Eric said in about 0.5% of the search results, the green URL is also clickable.

I am not able to replicate it, but Google is constantly testing things, so this doesn't surprise me. Eric said he saw this in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, and US english markets on desktop.
