Google Ads is testing a new text disclaimer feature that lets you set the text disclaimer to override descriptions pinned to position 1. This is labeled as "new" under where you add text disclaimers in the Google Ads interface.
This was spotted via Emirhan BayutmuĆ who posted about this on LinkedIn, hat tip to PPC News Feed. Emirhan wrote, "Now, your disclaimer text can override description line 1. Why is this important? Because you can control your message better and show critical info first."
Here is his screenshot:
Text disclaimers allow you to display the required terms, conditions, and disclosures related to your business in your existing desktop and mobile text ads. Text disclaimers are guaranteed to appear in the description line section in your responsive search ads (RSA). If your business must ensure specific text, terms, or disclosures appear in your ad for regulatory compliance, this feature guarantees that content will display.
