Google announced on Google+ that they are going to enable a new feature in January to better control and see the account names across all shared accounts.
Google said in January 2016, "all users who have access to a managed account will be able to view the name of that account, and admins will have the ability to edit them as well." Google explained that "this change means that all users with access to an account will see a single, consistent account name for identification."
This should "make it easier for users who manage and report across the same managed accounts," Google said on Google+.
Google has updated their help document to explain more on how this will impact your existing account names.
