In this mornings Google Webmaster Hangout with John Mueller on Google+, one question asked was about why Panda has not really updated since October. Truth is, I am not if that is true, Google may have pushed out smaller Panda refreshes since.
In any event, the person who asked the question added "Google really shouldn't delay or pause algorithms once it starts them."
Google's John Mueller responded to that by saying at 8 minutes and 5 seconds, "it is not the case that we kind of artificially stop them just to bug webmasters around that."
John said that Google runs these algorithms regularly but sometimes they are run more regularly than other times. He added, "we try to keep them running as regular as possible, but sometimes that is not always possible."
But it is not the case, John said, that they slow or stop them just to mess with Webmasters.
