In November, we documented how Google began sprucing up their Google Answers boxes with answer action links. But the catch was, it only worked for Google specific content. I said, Google should give you and I a way to get these links as well - and it looks like they are now.
A search for [wordpress download], quickbooks install] and many other related queries will now show these action links directly in the Google Answer box.

Brent Nau first spotted this and posted it both on Google+ and Twitter.
I emailed Google asking for how these specific queries and websites got such links. Is it a test feature? Is it automated? Is it built into Google Webmaster Tools?
I have not heard back after emailing them around 15 hours ago.
This is however a better solution than just not adding any links to the publishers site when providing a quick answer in the search results.
