Google Assistant Hopes To Cheer You Up With Good News

Good News Google

Google announced this week a new Google Assistant feature to ask the Google Assistant to tell you about good news. You say "Hey Google, tell me something good" and Google will. It comes from the a network of Solutions Journalism Network that curates this content from a wide range of news outlets.

This is Google's effort to try to help people not just focus on the negative news but share what good is happening in our world.

The good news response will be a two or three sentence news summary about people who are working to solve problems for our communities and our world.

I like this and it launched shortly after speakable actions for news publishers, which we set up for this site. Just ask Google "okay Google, tell me the latest news about Google updates" or something similar.
