Google Awesome

Ever wonder what the number one, most important, search ranking factor is in Google's algorithms? Is it links? Is it content? Is it a special hidden meta tag? Nope, it is none of that. It is "awesomeness."

Yep, that is what John Mueller of Google said, the number one, most important ranking factor Google uses to rank search results is "awesomeness."

Here is the tweet:

Where can you find this awesomeness? Well, let's define it. The Free Dictionary defines it as:

  • Inspiring awe: an awesome thunderstorm.
  • Expressing awe: stood in awesome silence before the ancient ruins.
  • Slang Remarkable; outstanding: "a totally awesome arcade game" (Los Angeles Times).

I don't think this is something you can buy on Amazon or get overnight but it takes some time.

Good luck getting your site to be awesomeness.
