Del Patrick, a self proclaimed "Science loving tea junkie. Sceptical of wild claims," posted on Twitter the latest unusual Google Answer box. This one answered the question [what happened to the dinosaurs].
The answer Google gave, yesterday, was a biblical response:
Dinosaurs are used more than almost anything else to indoctrinate children and adults in the idea of millions of years of earth history. However, the Bible gives us a framework for explaining dinosaurs in terms of thousands of years of history, including the mystery of when they lived and what happened to them.
The answer was pulled from the biblical site named answersingenesis.org. Here is a picture:
After he asked friends and followers to mark feedback on that answer as "incorrect," it seems Google has pulled down the answer.
Google Answers is often known not to be correct all the time. It is crowdsourced content and the actual result from answersingenesis.org currently ranks in the top three spots for me.
I guess if you are unhappy with a Google Answer, you can try to get a lot of people to click the feedback link and mark the answer as incorrect?
