Google's Brad Horowitz announced closures of several Google products, including Google Buzz.
He said, "In a few weeks we’ll shut down Google Buzz and the Buzz API, and focus instead on Google+. While people obviously won't be able to create new posts after that, they will be able to view their existing content on their Google Profile, and download it using Google Takeout."
This comes with no surprise to many. Google Buzz seems a bit redundant to Google + and we always felt it would someone be incorporated on some level or killed off.
But this means the Buzz layer in Google Maps was removed recently, which got a complaint.
