Christmas is around the corner and Google has just put up their Christmas decorations for the special day. Do a search for [christmas] or [merry christmas] and other flavors of that and you will see the Christmas decorations along the top of the page.
Google launched the Hanukkah decorations a couple days ago, as Hanukkah started last night.
Google does this every year, but normally the decorations are along the right side, acting as a separator between the ads and the search results.
We are still waiting for the [kwanzaa] and maybe even [festivus] decorations.
