Google Chrome Canary Displays HTTP As Non Secure - click for full size

The picture above is from Google's Ilya Grigorik who posted this on Google+, displaying how the Google Chrome Canary is now enabling users to be warned when they access HTTP pages. This will mark non-secure origins as non-secure. So HTTP origins will show a broken or ineffective lock in the browser bar.

We knew Google wanted to do this and now it looks like they are testing it in their early Chrome release.

Ilya said this is his "new favorite Chrome Canary flag."

How do you feel about your browser marking HTTP content as not secure with such a label?
