The majority of SEOs and webmasters want Google to confirm more algorithmic updates. At least those are the results from my skewed polls I run here.

I asked back about a month ago, if Google should confirm more of those unconfirmed updates.

77% said yes, while only 11% said no, Google shouldn't confirm more updates.

Confirm Updates Google

In fact, if Google did, I wouldn't be called out by Gary Illyes as not seeing the RankBrain update. He said at PubCon that no one noticed, not even me.

I said that wasn't true, but he said it was true:

If you look, we learned about RankBrain in October based on an article from Bloomberg that said it launched a few months earlier.

I have several blog posts of unconfirmed Google updates from that timeframe:

Unconfirmed Rankbrain

I didn't know it was "RankBrain" or machine learning but we did notice shifts, changes and unconfirmed updates.

You can see my lists of all of these in the Google updates category which dates back December 3, 2003 about the Florida update.

In any event, at least in this case, it would be nice to know when RankBrain started rolling out and have more of this confirmed. Of course, Google would need a staff to stay on top of confirming or denying all my update requests.

Forum discussion continued at Twitter.

This post was scheduled to go live today but was written earlier - I am currently offline today.
