One of the most discussed non-search topics on Google are their Google logos, also known as Google Doodles.
Google has a devoted section of their site to browse all the past holiday and event logos. You can see them at google.com/logos.
Whenever there is a featured logo, be it a loog found on all Google home pages or a logo found only on a regional Google home page, there is always a thread or 500 threads in the Google Web Search Help forums on the Doodle.
Normally those threads contain complaints about the logo. But often also there are those thanking Google for remembering a special person or special day.
The issue is, the posts and threads can become overwhelming to general web search help - which is what the forum is about. So Google decided to devote a category within the forum just for Doodle discussion.
The forum is named the Google Doodles Forum.
Kelly from Google announced the forum in the Google Web Search Help forum saying:
If you're anything like me, then you look forward to the different Google doodles that we display on various days throughout the year. Well now you have a special place to connect with other doodle fans and talk about our homepage artwork. For a look at past doodles, check out http://www.google.com/logos/. Thanks for stopping by!
I am glad they did this, will make my job of finding quality posts in this forum just a bit easier.
