Gary Illyes from Google, one of the webmaster trends analysts that is incredibly helpful to webmasters and SEO, said on Twitter this morning that it is best not to email him for advice or help. Why? Well, he said he gets about 8,000 emails per week and that is a lot of email.
He said you will likely get better advice by going to the Google Webmaster Forums and shared this short URL http://g.co/webmasterhelpforum.
Here is Gary's post:
Pro tip: with about 8000 emails i get every week, it's way more likely you'll get help faster in https://t.co/7Hw8fvBoi9 than by emailing me pic.twitter.com/MFNStd9fOT

So of course, since Gary and I have fun mocking each other, I told him I'll be sending him more email to make sure he breaks the 10k mark and reach his goals.
@rustybrick that would be great. You can team up with @gfiorelli1

But in all seriousness, the Google forums can be very helpful and if it is a bigger issue, the issue can be escalated to someone like John Mueller.
