Google Didn't Get Rid Of All Emojis In The Search Results

emoji lookingCyrus Shepard posted on Twitter that not all the emoji characters were gone, that he was able to bring up a hazard sign directly in the Google search results.

This only shows up on select browsers, I was able to replicate it using Safari on Mac, for a search on [http://instagram.com/igotmodzz/]. The character is ⚠️ and it renders on some browsers.

Google supposedly killed off Emojis from displaying in the search results this weekend.

I suspect Google may have possibly missed some and they will squash the remaining icons as they come across them.
