Google is testing a new format for Sitelinks in the search results. These sitelinks are not just links that take you to a specific web page, but when clicked on, they expand and show you a snippet of content from the page it is linking to.
This was spotted by SEMRush and posted on Twitter.

Yes, of course, this may upset some SEOs and webmasters. Why can't the searcher just click on the link and go to the web site? Why does Google have to show a snippet of the content to the searcher? It may result in less clicks to my web site from Google?
I personally cannot replicate this, so it is only a test.
