As I covered last night at Search Engine Land, Google has officially expanded the more results button test, which lets a searcher click on "more results" to dynamically load more results in the search results, without having to technically click the next button and go to page two.
I personally can see the test, prior when we spotted people noticing this test was a few weeks ago and also in July 2017 and December 2017.

Danny Sullivan from Google confirmed on Twitter that this test has been expanded to more users. It is only being tested on mobile according to Danny Sullivan.

I guess the early tests warrant Google expanding this test more widely.
