Google Featured Snippets That Extract Definitions Automatically?

Here is a super interesting featured snippet feature in Google search. It shows a featured snippet but right below it, it shows also a word from the featured snippet that Google thinks you might want a definition on.

I cannot replicate this but the query was [driving with a suspended license ny] - I do see the featured snippet but I do not see the definition. He wrote "Google extracted the word “misdemeanor” and defined it within the snippet. It’s also interesting to note that Google pulled in the British spelling of the word “misdemeanor” even though it is spelled the American style in the snippet."

Have you ever seen this happen before?
