You probably have all noticed that I have not been mentioning the name Gary Illyes from Google as often as I use to. That is because he is way less active on Twitter these days. He actually said it himself on Twitter, he wrote "I'm not checking Twitter nowadays."
I'm not checking Twitter nowadays, so you can just show up. No need for reservations/confirmations/RSVP

Of course he does post things there every now and then and responds every now and then but overall he is way less active. Mark Traphagen tweeted about it:
In case you hadn’t already noticed, @methode no longer checks Twitter, so stop tweeting him your #SEo questions. @JohnMu and @dannysullivan are probably your best bets these days. Any other Googlers who answer SEO ?’s on Twitter? https://t.co/t4ASwSC4Lo

Gary called it "lies" as a joke and then John Mueller came in with an excellent response:
Correlation / causation, Gary.

So if you want responses from Google on Twitter at the moment, stick with John Mueller or Danny Sullivan.
It feels like when Kylie Jenner blasted Snapchat. :)
