Last week we reported that Google was opening up Google Glass for purchase to any US resident on a single day, April 15th, also Passover.
That causes an issue for observant Jews who aren't allowed to purchase anything on the holiday. So I wrote about that caveat and Google's Sarah Price, the Glass Community & Social Media Team Lead, responding implying Google will figure out a way to accommodate those who are in this situation.
Sarah Price commented saying:
Hi Barry, thanks for bringing this up – it's definitely bad timing. Anyone who is unable to purchase Glass due to their observance of Passover should let us know afterwards and we'll see what we can do. They should +mention +Google Glass on Google+, send us a message on Facebook, or DM us on Twitter, whichever they prefer.
So there you have it, Google Glass now is kosher for Passover.
