Google Hires Gary Illyes & Pierre Far As Webmaster Trends Analysts

Google keeps hiring away our most respected and giving SEOs! Google's @JohnMu, a former SEO, converted Googler announced on Twitter that they have hired two other respected SEOs to join the Google Webmaster Trends Analyst team.

Those two SEOs include Pierre Far aka ekstreme.com @pierrefar and Gary Illyes @methode. Both are very well known for helping SEOs within the various SEO forums, including the Google forums as well as building tools and resources for helping SEOs.

Pierre announced the new job on his blog saying:

Tomorrow morning I will start working at Google�s London office as a Webmaster Trends Analyst. SEOs will immediately know what that role is as I will be John Mueller�s team mate. To those that don�t know, it�s the team within Google that interacts with website owners and manages Webmaster Central among other things.

It is great to see Google hiring people I have a deep respect for. I am really happy for both Pierre, Gary and Google. I have high expectations for them and you bet I will be following your every word.
