Google announced their slew of hardware yesterday and while it is cool and all, the one that excites me the most is Google Home. The truth is, many of these devices do voice search - but Google Home seems like a lot of fun.
The one that had me scratching my head since Google hinted at Home back at I/O - was how would Google source their voice controlled search results. Well, Danny Sullivan posted two quick videos of them on Twitter.
In short, and as I expected, Google basically says before they start giving you the answer, "according to" and they say the web site's name and then state the featured snippet answer. I believe this is an awesome way to give credit before giving the answer.
Here are the videos:
Google Home will use Featured Snippets for answers. Source credited but not like getting a click #MadeByGoogle https://t.co/ZLMqVwHpvc pic.twitter.com/GkE7n3kovb

Glenn Gabe asked John Mueller if we can surface these home queries that yield featured snippets in the Google Search Console. John responded on Twitter he would ask:
@glenngabe I'll ask :)

This my friend, is the future of search that we've been waiting for. No links to click on. Be it while you are walking around your house or office, driving somewhere or walking down the street - this is how people will/are searching and this is how your content will show up for them.
