After years and years of doing absolutely nothing on the Google home page for Memorial Day or maybe just placing a simple US flag and ribbon lower down on the home page, Google has gone all out for Memorial Day this year. Heck, Google even wrote a blog post about the meaning of the day.
If you visit Google.com in the US you will see a gray Google logo and a US flag and mention below - that links to that blog post. The logo links to the search results for the keyword phrase [memorial day].
