A month ago, Google began testing putting the hotel highlight details in an overlay window instead of a normal web page window. Well, today Google is rolling out that change.
Sergey Alakov, the kind of spotting these local changes, cover it and also posted it on Twitter.
Here is a screen shot, I am able to replicate it myself:
This is just a user interface change and there is no new information being shown as far as I can tell.
