So apparently if you try to filter out images in Google Image search to show images from April 2008 or earlier, Google will tell you that you are out of luck. If you change it to May 2008, sure, but something about April 2008 or earlier, Google Image search cannot help you out. I am not sure why exactly?
Maybe all the images in their index are from after that date?

Searching for Donald Trump on Google Images. Why won’t it show me any results prior to April 2008? pic.twitter.com/gQoJ4chSw4

Danny Sullivan from Google said on Twitter said he will pass it along but he guessed "images from that time period probably don't have embedded meta data with the dates and are on pages published since the web began, which means assumed dates of 1993 onward."
I'll pass it on, but my guess is because image dates are hard. Images from that time period probably don't have embedded meta data with the dates and are on pages published since the web began, which means assumed dates of 1993 onward.

Or maybe Google is trying to hide all images from before April 2008 (conspiracy theory - just kidding).
