Google Tests Image Search Interface With Image Hover Over?

Honestly, I am not sure if this is new, it might be how image search works in this specific country but in short, a user posted on Twitter a screen shot of viewing the Google image search results that is different than how I see it. In short, this new version shows the image hovering over the other images when you click on it. Here is a screen shot from him on Twitter:

This is how I see the same search result, with no hover:

We covered Google testing a similar interface about a year ago but this might be related to the outside US image search change from over a year ago. Or maybe not?

I think the way Google shows images in the US is different from many other countries?
