If you are still having indexing issues with Google, they are unrelated to the previous Google bugs we reported about says Google's John Mueller.
Google had two indexing bugs last week with discovering fresh content and then a month ago, had indexing bugs with removing older content from their index. They had more bugs as well - but if you are having issues after Sunday - that is just normal and not a Google bug, Google said.
Here is a tweet from John Mueller of Google on that topic:
No, that issue is resolved, as mentioned. If you're seeing errors in Search Console, I'd recommend looking into them -- or getting tips from peers in the webmaster help forums.

And I spent a lot of time asking John about it in the last Google hangout. Where he said the issue was resolved well before Sunday, they just decided to send out a tweet later to let people know. He said "No it was resolved before Sunday. It was just at some point we're like oh maybe we should actually tell people it's okay." He also said "So if people are still seeing issues then that would not be related to any of the old issues."
They also are still considering writing up a post mortem on the issue for people to learn from. We will see if they do that.
Here is the video embed starting at the 29:10 mark:
Here is the transcript:
Barry Schwartz: So the indexing issues. Two questions: The ones from last week, they were both about Google's having a problem indexing new or fresh content. Correct?
John Mueller: Oh man. I don't know which which ones were last week.
Barry Schwartz: It was just last week. Obviously, the one from April was like a month ago. That was specific to de-indexing issues, removing indexed pages from the index by accident. So deindexing. The ones from last week seem to be not be able to index new content.
John Mueller: It’s possible. I don't know. We have so many things happening that I am not a hundred percent sure. But I think that that might be correct.
Barry Schwartz: I guess, related to that is are you guys gonna write up some post mortem about the issue, remember we discussed you might be doing that. So you could share something that's going on with webmasters, SEOs and developers. Is that still something you're considering or probably not?
John Mueller: We're still considering it. I mean it's it's something that sometimes is a bit tricky to put together because so many different teams are involved. But it is something that in general we we'd liked it. I think a lot of these issues are things that can happen to other web sites as well so there's always some learnings that that can be shared, which I think would be nice to do.
Barry Schwartz: I mean that's just about nice, it's also about like knowing is it removing content from your index, like you know older pages that were already indexed that might have data loss issues versus brand new content that never was indexed that took maybe a couple hours longer to be indexed or maybe a 24 hours longer to be indexed. And then there would be no data loss in Search Console because of it because that stuff was never in there. This different ways of understanding how Google bugs have or potential bugs may have impacted my website might be useful. Not just a learning thing for SEO but more of an analysis thing that people can look back at and say these dates may have a lot less traffic because of X Y & Z. And maybe that's important for them to understand.
John Mueller: I don't know how much detail we would go into there because a lot of these things when things go wrong they're usually based on our internal systems. So it's not something where it's it's that trivial to say this was exactly that and therefore you don't have to worry about it anymore. And so that's that sometimes kind of tricky.
Barry Schwartz: Okay the only reason I bring it up is because I keep getting people saying I don't think that issue from last Thursday night was actually resolved on Sunday. I still think there's issues.
John Mueller: No it was resolved before Sunday. It was just at some point we're like oh maybe we should actually tell people it's okay.
Barry Schwartz: I know, but people are saying no it wasn’t it resolved because my site still not fully indexed.
John Mueller: Yeah I mean, yeah I I mean there are lots of reasons why sites are not indexed or why sites might not see their content being indexed as quickly as they'd like to see it. And a lot of times those are just completely normal things which I don't know all of us have seen over and over over the years and they're not tied to any specific issue. So as far as I know everything is running smoothly and has caught up. So if people are still seeing issues then that would not be related to any of the old issues.
------
As we said before, It has been a rough couple months for Google around indexing and Google search. on Thursday night we had an indexing issue, we had this indexing issue earlier last week, in early April pages dropped out of the Google index, and it took them a few weeks to fully fix when you count in the 16-day Search Console data loss. Google had bugs with picking the correct canonical as well, also an issue with indexing Google News content, cache date issues, problems with both recipe markup and mobile friendly issues and so much more.
