Google has pushed out a revised version of the Google Search app for iOS, you can get it over here. This is a big version number update, version 10.0.
It brings the app more in sync with the Android counterpart. It updated all the branding around Google Voice search and the new Google logo. Especially with the Google dots for voice search.
It also has expanded the Google Now cards to give you a lot more cards, make them more relevant and order them based on how important the stories should be for you now. They also expanded their sports scores and made them much cooler.
Here is a GIF of the new iOS app:
Here is how Google described the changes:
- A fresh look and feel for voice search
- Redesigned Google Now cards organized by sections that make it easier to scan for the info you need. Timely info - like upcoming flights, appointments, and traffic updates - will show up first, while less urgent cards - like suggestions for videos and articles - will be lower down your feed.
- Rich, easy to navigate Search results for NBA and soccer that bring you game info, team news and league standings all in one place, including up-to-the minute box scores. Try it out by searching for your favorite team.
